I'll venture a guess and say he means Laguna seca....
Kind of a toss up in feb. I guess. Sebring, mostly sunny and probally slightly warmer, or MR at Laguna Seca and probally cloudier and chillier. I guess the deciding factor would be the gator at the Wild Turkey in Avon Park / Sebring, and maybe even Disney for the family, or the cool lil shops, bars, and restaurants in downtown Monterey and the aquarium. You hafta do BOTH at least a couple times to REALLY figure which one you like better..
  • Doh... I'm thinking it's some four letter acronym for a trade association... completely missed the obvious. Yeah, I'm way overdue to race at seca. Still haven't done it. Been to Monterey and the aquarium years ago and wouldn't mind seeing them again. No comparison with Sebring in physical beauty... But then again... we're not going to either place for the site seeing. Zoom zoom.

yes but 5 events at one location is boring :/

    Seca is awesome tho
  • True... We complain about 3 Lime Rock's on the summer schedule but at least we have 3 different configurations to play with. But still... If you have to go to the same place 5 times... There are a lot worse places to go than Laguna. It's a high end problem for sure... eh?

"Ohhh Boo Hooo... I have to go to the same beautiful challenging world class track with one of the worlds most famous signature turns 5 times a year!... " Really all you have to do is put a syndicate together and build another race track!

  • I'll be there working with Kevin Tittle. I am looking forward to seeing you all, especially Dr. Mike, so I can thank you for embarrassing John John with his recent John Edwards Day recognition! Any word yet on 2010 for him? If he does the Memorial, I will too.

I'll be hosting some pre-event online meetings for anyone who would like to get their minds ready for the race weekend. The format is similar to what we did for Homestead a few weeks ago. If you'd like to participate, head over to http://www.gerardobonilla.com/Gerard.../Coaching.html for details.

    See you all there!

  • wish i would be able to go, but would love to see the pictures from the event!
  • I'm in... it's become tradition! Really, there's not much to do in Sebring except drive race cars; but, then again, I don't care! Look forward to seeing everyone. gdr
