Awesome use of light, background, reflection, color, black and white, but especially, light. Very cool.

Agreed... This guy has an eye and extraordinary devotion to detail. Never seen anything like it.

Re: Everyone needs a hobby...

That is very impressive.... It would make me crazy after awhile, all those little sets, making everything perfect for each image, i can speak from experience, it is very tedious work.

It took me a minute to realize these were just model sets. The cleanliness was what made me think it was all too perfect for reality.

Wait a minute. That's Christine we're talking about???? Never mind.

Re: Tao the Chinese submarine guy...

- Looks like the cockpit of every RT I've ever sat in...
- Would love to see reaction shots when he asks, "Anyone want to go for a ride?" Lots of scrambling... "Ohh Gee... Thanks Tao but I'm overdue at the old rice paddy." stuff.
- Fifth grade education, no measurements, all used parts in a home made submarine... What could possibly go wrong?
- "You seen Tao anywhere?..." "No, I thought he was with you?"
- At least we don't have to worry about being overshadowed by Chinese submarine technology this year.
- Just goes to show... All you need is a dollar and a dream.

Re: Everyone needs a hobby...

hahaha hey, anythings possible and seeing video's of people with nothing and being able to do things unimaginable is what makes me keep my head up when things are going "not as planned" because as long as u keep at it, u can achieve it! idk, just felt like putting a lil of my $.02 feelings into that video.

But Dalyduo, those comments were hilarious!

Re: Everyone needs a hobby...

I couldn't determine the overall size of that sub but unless I'm mistaken, didn't the Japanese build several tiny, 1 or 2 man subs that penetrated some of our west coast defenses during WWII ?

yes, they used several on 12/7/41 at Pearl, there is speculation the Arizona was a victim of one of their torpedoes

Wow. That's all I can say. Wow.

The love, passion, and energy infused into and exuding from his work is what speaks to you. A true artist.

Corsair. What a beast.
